With graduation restructured and prom canceled at OHS, the class of 2020 won’t be given the same experience as previous graduates. This is an unfair phenomenon, to say the least, as some students have waited so long for these moments in their lives that unfortunately might become wasted dreams.
Oswego High School students have taken the shenanigans to social media with the wildly popular OHS outfit reviews Instagram page. @ohs_outfitreviews appeared on Instagram earlier in the year, ready to cause harmless fun for OHS students on Sep. 15. The anonymous account owner(s) rate and review OHS students' outfits in a comedic fashion.
This year, I decided to take a moment and focus on other young Hispanas like myself who attend Oswego High School. It's about time that we put the spotlight on the generations of our hardworking Hispanas and listen to what they have to say. By doing this, we can make it up to our abuelitas that lacked the opportunity to make their voices heard, paving the way for generations yet to come.
As the school year begins, so do Friday night lights. The Oswego High School’s student section, Orange Crew, is preparing to bring on the school spirit at OH athletic events for the 2023-2024 school year.
Ms. Jamie Bechina, an English teacher and girls track coach here at Oswego High School, has undoubtedly made a great impact on the Panther community from her work with English students to athletes.
