On Nov. 10, the Oswego High School English Department, with the sponsorship of Student Council, hosted Poetry Day in the auditorium where students were invited to attend a poetry workshop and perform at an open microphone.
At approximately 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 3, the OHS administration sent out an email to all students stating rumors there was a threat involving an individual in the building with a weapon were occurring.
During the 2023-2024 school year, OH gym teachers have enforced a gym dress code with verbal announcements and posters that slippers, pajamas, khakis, and more aren't allowed to be worn during gym classes.
On March 29 from April 1, Oswego Robotics’ Gear It Forward 2338 made it onto 1st placing alliance and won the 7 Rivers Regional competition in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Following their success, the team moved onto the FIRST World Championship in Houston where their alliance ranked third.
Oswego High School will host the much-anticipated prom on April 29, 6–11 p.m. Juniors and seniors are encouraged to find dresses, suits, and other formal clothing as they celebrate this year’s new theme, "starry night."
