With graduation restructured and prom canceled at OHS, the class of 2020 won’t be given the same experience as previous graduates. This is an unfair phenomenon, to say the least, as some students have waited so long for these moments in their lives that unfortunately might become wasted dreams.
Without a doubt, the last year has been a difficult one. When asked what words came to mind, students echoed the same sentiment: chaotic, overwhelming, thought-provoking. While going through so much undeniable change and loss, three students reflected on positive changes they have felt.
This year's free agency has been nothing but exciting. There have been trades and big signings, and I am here to break down the major deals that have gone down.
Nobody thought that the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic would last all the way through the summer of 2020. This is not the ideal year everyone was expecting, from staying at home all summer to School District 308 going fully remote for grades K-12. In this video, you will hear the viewpoints from Opinions Editor Triston Green, Sports Editor Evan Sharrard, and Staff Writer Anthony Myers and how their expectations of summer soon went completely awry.
