Senior Column: A bittersweet feeling as I make my own path without eagle emojis

I have to say, I did my best in hopes that I’d get somewhere. People had high expectations of me, and it’s true that there is so much I could have been and so much I could have worked even harder for, but (for better or worse) I ended up here.

Students and staff at OH continue to share interesting and uncommon cars, with a returning student from 42Fifty's previous photo feature. In addition to showcasing cars, experiences can be as important as the car itself.

[SATIRE] Shape-shifting mailbox terrorizes Oswego community

Rumors and speculation have arisen among residents of Oswego, and the most significant concern has been the sudden disappearance and uncanny appearances of residential mailboxes. Per the reports of the community, the culprit behind the mayhem seems to be a shape-shifting mailbox that feeds off resident's postcards and utility bills. “It’s a menace to society, that thing made a whole mailbox vanish in front of me and turned into the exact one he ate. That law-breaking mailbox should be arrested for its crimes,” said local Oswego Patch reporter John Jonah Jameson.

With the recent reveal of the '25 OH Prom’s theme, "Once Upon a Time," students have had mixed feedback. Some put it bluntly: “The current theme is boring and generic and fails to differentiate itself from other similar themes,” said OH senior Anthony Spevere. Author Katerina Speers visits OH’ Creative Writing class

elements of writing and publishing a book. In her presentation, she discussed writer’s block, building more emotion and depth into characters, as well as finding one's way to writing.  Speers opened up her speech with an icebreaker, Two Truths and a Lie, except all her statements were true. “The point of the exercise is, you don’t know me until you get to know me. What you see here is just one persona,” said Speers.
