Man, I am tired. I can’t think of anything to write about. I think my dog Tito is smart. He understands that he is not allowed to chew on socks so he hides them under the couch so he can chew on them when nobody is around. I think that is pretty smart. I’m gonna let him tap his little paws on the keyboard and let autocorrect do the rest. Lets see what he has to say.

These are some of the chants that were heard up and down IL-71 on May 30. A crowd of over 200 people came together to peacefully protest the murder of George Floyd, an African-American man from Minnesota, and to show support for the Black Lives Matter movement. They held up homemade signs and drivers honked every minute as they passed by to show solidarity.

J.B. Pritzker extends stay-at-home order through May

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker announced at his daily press conference that the stay-at-home order will be extended through May 31 due to concerns of the spread of COVID-19. The previous end date was originally April 30 but was pushed back because of how quickly COVID-19 could spread.

School canceled for the remainder of 2019-2020 school year

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker announced on April 17 that all schools in Illinois will be closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year due to the spread of COVID-19. The announcement was made during his daily coronavirus press conference.
