As candy and flower companies prepare for a rush of sales for Valentine’s Day, shoe brands begin to sell their holiday-themed shoes. Brands such as Nike, Converse, Adidas, and Vans have released different red and pink shoes in the past and continue to develop new designs and styles for this year.
Nike
Air Forces are fairly popular amongst Nike customers, and Nike has found a new way to appeal to this crowd. This Valentine’s Day, Nike is expected to release its Valentine’s Day Air Force 1 shoes with a fresh design and hints of light pink. The Nike symbols on either side of the shoes are detailed with “Nike” and “Love,” the laces have beads reading “Nike” and “Love” as well, and the soles are light pink. Past Valentine’s Day Air Force 1 shoes have red and pink throughout, making the new shoe exceptionally unique from the others with details not found on other shoes. These new Air Forces can be found on nike.com after they are released.
Converse
If you or someone you know is a frequent Converse customer, you may know that Converse has many different Valentine’s Day shoe options to choose from. One of these options is the Custom Chuck Taylor All Star Lift Platform Canvas By You, with a thick sole and heart-shaped Converse logo on the sides. This shoe comes in a variety of colors and patterns, such as cream with red accents, pink with the word “love” in red, and black with red accents. With an option to customize, you can make this shoe fit your style all while showing your appreciation for the day of love.
Adidas
If Adidas shoes are more up your alley, fret not—they have a Valentine’s Day shoe, too. Adidas took their classic Ultraboost 5.0 DNA design and added a heartthrob option for those interested. The all-black shoe has red hearts all throughout the shoe and a red “ultraboost” symbol. Additionally, this shoe is partially made with recycled materials to show love for the planet. If you already have this shoe in a different color and design, then you can add to your collection with this Valentine’s Day celebration.
Vans
Vans has many different Valentine’s Day shoe options; some of which exhibit an understated love for the holiday and others that clearly show their support for it. For a less-obvious look to Valentine’s Day, Vans offers checkered or colored shoes with roses either on the soles or the entirety of the shoe. Additionally, there is also a shoe with small “love letters” designed on the sides of the Old Skool classics. Some of the “love letters” decorated with hearts include sayings such as “meet me in the middle” and “brand new start.” If you like to match your socks to your shoes, Vans has rose-patterned socks to go with rose-patterned shoes.
With many different options, Valentine’s Day is being represented in shoe designs from various brands. Nike, Converse, Adidas, and Vans all offer shoes without designs that have a red and/or pink tone as another way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. These shoes are offered year-round and can be worn any time of the year.
