“Pilgrims Paradise,” “Freudian,” “CASE STUDY 01,” “NEVER ENOUGH,” and now “Son of Spergy:” Daniel Ceaser released a new album after two years, leaving fans in shock with its beautiful sound and chords. The album, released this fall, was highly anticipated throughout the announcement.
“I was super pumped that he was actually releasing again,” said OH junior Jordyn Becker. “It’s been quite a minute since he’s released.”
Though Ceaser had shown no indication of releasing an album after his 2023 hit “NEVER ENOUGH,” he was still active in the music community, helping produce the late 2024 hit “CHROMAKOPIA” by Tyler The Creator and frequent interviews with the artist.

Moving into the spring season, OH baseball is in full swing, and seniors, like Andrew Zwemke and Aiden Jaquez, are ready to take the field for one last season with OH baseball.
On the mound, pitchers Zwemke and Jaquez have played baseball all four years of high school. At the same time, both are competing to perform on the mound.
OH’s band program is advanced to say the least. thanks to Directors Kevin Schoenbach and Stephanie San Roman, with around 300 students in all of the band programs combined, the performing arts are a significant part of Oswego High School's culture.
This winter, Schoenbach was, for the second time in his career, recognized as a top 10 finalist for the Music Educator of the Year award from the Recording Academy and GRAMMY Museum.
This nomination is a reflection of his legacy in conducting, which has helped many students develop a deeper connection to a wider range of music.
“Mr. Schoenbach motivates students to strive for excellence through his teaching style. The way he teaches is very entertaining and informative at the same time,” said OH senior Lucas Arroyo.
