Ignite 308 canceled, day to be used to prepare outside schoolwork in event of closures
In an email that went out to Oswego School District 308 staff members this afternoon, it was announced that Ignite 308, a professional development day for staff members across the district held at Oswego High School on Tuesday, March 17, has been canceled, and that the day will be used by teachers to develop activities for students that could be done in the event of school closures as a result of COVID-19 concerns.

Restaurant 2 hosts Appetizer Fair for teachers, fosters students’ creativity
This past Friday, during 5th period, the Restaurant 2 class held an appetizer lunch for OHS staff. Students had the freedom to come up with a dish of their choice. Thomas Dwyer, who teaches the class, invited teachers and administrators joined together to sample the student’s dishes as well as discuss the culinary choices each student made.
