From his first appearance in the comic “Batman No.1” to his most recent appearance in the movie “Joker” (2019), the Joker has changed drastically. For every different Batman series, there is another version of the Joker. Just like clowns at a birthday party, some of these Jokers are better left unheard of. However, the following iterations are unique and deserve attention.
Sonic The Hedgehog 3 rolled into theaters this past Dec., serving as a direct sequel to Sonic The Hedgehog 2 in the Sonic live-action series.
The movie was directed by Jeff Fowler and the screenplay was written by Pat Casey, Josh Miller, and John Whittington. They have all returned after their work on the second movie. Sonic 3 focuses on introducing Shadow The Hedgehog, a favorite character in the fandom.
“The director who made the other two Sonic movies had a lot of experience, and he had a lot of... potential story to pull from the Sonic IP,” said OH junior Dylan Johnson.
Laika Studios will bring Coraline back to theaters for a limited time on Halloween, marking the movie's 15th anniversary by providing remastered screenings in 3D.
This isn’t the first time Laika has returned the movie to theaters. It was re-released in theaters in Aug. 2023, and due to its popularity, they have continued to bring the popular animation to theaters throughout 2023 and 2024.
The 2024 anime line-up holds much hope, and the highly anticipated “Solo Leveling” is expected to be the runner-up to 2024 Crunchyroll Anime Awards.
Senior Elijah Duran said, ”It was good to hear that it was getting an anime adaptation, when the episode released I rushed to watch it. It was very well animated and looks exactly like in the webtoon. I loved when they animated ‘the smile’ in the second episode, it gave me chills.”
Since the Minecraft video game was created, fans have been curious as to how big movie studios could adapt the game into a full-length movie. New and old game fans have been excited about the new movie, but big excitement can also lead to big disappointment.
As many popular games have recently been fully adapted into movies, Warner Bros. will be the studio to release a live-action version of the beloved game in theaters on April 4.
