OH jumps into spring sports season
After late February tryouts, each sport has finalized its team and is ready to jump into action. OH Athletic Director Darren Howard reflected on the past season and is working to address potential problems. “Spring is a challenging season for athletes and coaches. It is the toughest season [[regarding]] weather and changes,” said Howard. “It also carries with it all the student events like spring break, prom, graduation, etc. that make it challenging for student-athletes to stay focused throughout the season.”
OH students finding their path: Allard focuses on his future
OH senior Kyle Allard, a photographer for The Reflector student yearbook, is passionate about photography and has shown his talent in the Oswego community. “Kyle is always trying to find new things to widen his creativity,” junior Josie Eggert said. Allard is a creative person and very passionate about his interests. He is currently enrolled in the National Arts Honor Society and a new member of the Quill and Scroll National Journalism Honor Society.

Check out some Christmas lights in our community! “Me and my friends went to Millennium Park to see the tree get lit up and it was so pretty,” said OH junior Ashley Deal. Getting together with friends in a Christmas setting is a great chance to bond. Get out and enjoy some Christmas lights shining bright in the chilly winter. High school students finding their path early: Young OH entrepreneur Katelyn Thilk
Katelyn Thilk a sophomore student who was awarded 3rd in the state her freshman year, for her talent. Since 2020 when Thilk first was playing around she has grown so much as a baking business along with managing her socials and school life.
