Team confidence grows after Edwardsville losses

The Oswego Panther Varsity Baseball (OPVB) team is well into the season and has gotten off to a good start with a 13-9-1 record. Team morale is high and coaches still have full confidence in the team they have. “I think we're doing well, but there's definitely more we can do to make this team great,” said senior pitcher Noah Mottet.

Kung Fu Panda 4 releases with mixed reviews

Kung Fu Panda 4 debuted Mar. 8, 2024, and with it came an abundance of mixed reviews. The mixed martial arts animal movie is notorious for its original movie and sequels. The series had made quite the name for itself using Jack Black as Poe the Panda, and its above-average story for an animated film.  However, it seems that audiences aren’t as blown away by the newest installment as they were with the originals. “To be honest, I was heavily disappointed [[be]]cause I really had high expectations and I thought it was [[going to]] be good,” said OH junior Amelia Perley.

In addition to participation in OH Honor Societies and earning a strong GPA, volunteering throughout high school is another way that OH students can earn a cord to wear proudly at graduation.

OH prides itself on having a wide variety of extracurricular activities and classes that cultivate learning and the development of various skills. The approximately 3,000 enrolled students at OH have many different ways to deepen their learning and pursue new interests, including honor societies.
