Senior Column: A letter to my best friend
There is nothing more beautiful than a friendship between teenage girls. Not feeling embarrassed to talk about your feelings, being comfortable crying in front of them, and comfortable telling them everything about the past and present. Sharing makeup and clothes, sleeping in the same bed, laughing uncontrollably together, dealing with the same struggles, and getting ready together. Supporting each other, growing up together.
Photo Essay: OH Senior ABC Countdown celebrates the end of high school
Each spring, OH seniors organize an ABC Countdown as dress-up days to celebrate the final days of high school. Each day, every senior has the opportunity to participate in counting down the days to graduation. Students display their excitement and creativity through their outfits. Ranging from simple, everyday outfits to elaborate costumes, seniors have been hyping each other up and keeping spirits high before graduation.
OH graduates prepare to take SD#308 walk in elementary school halls
Each spring, OH seniors are invited back to their SD#308 elementary schools the week before graduation. In this sentimental journey, graduates take their last walk down school hallways in the place where they started their academic journey. “The final walks were originally started in a few elementary schools by parents or parent organizations,” said alumni event organizer and former Boulder Hill Elementary school teacher Maryam Osusch.

On March 23, 2024, OH bathrooms will immediately close due to upcoming construction by order of new superintendent Dr. Rigatoni. This change is due to a proposal presented to the school to get rid of the bathrooms, and it passed.
