Oswego High School students kicked off the football season with Neon Night at Neuqua Valley High School on August 25th. Although it was an away game, students were practically glowing in a variety of construction vests, tutus, and colorful hats.
Orange Crew led the theme night, wearing the brightest colors and covering themselves with paint. Construction vests were the most common neon pieces, however many students also painted their faces and wore colorful jewelry. Senior Mario Alberto Cielo-Salinas, junior Ameera Murphy, and junior Mya Alonzo show off their striking colors before the big game. The OHS varsity cheer team followed the theme too, wearing bright tie-dye and matching neon scrunchies.Students accessorized to the max, saying that they bought from stores like Party City, Walmart, and Amazon. Some students combined this theme with decades, wearing 90s and Y2K themed outfits. Junior Delaney Reilly and friends show off their noen outfits in the OHS student section. These girls show off powerful coordinating looks and matching accessories. Senior Megan Griest, senior Keira Frey, and friends show off matching neon facepaint and construction vests. Orange Crew celebrated the overwheming win against Neuqua Valley with a neon powder toss.
My name is Sasha Pankuch and I am a junior here at OHS. This is my first year with 42Fifty too. I am very involved here at OHS; I am on the board of Student Council, I play the saxophone in the Panther Marching Band, and am a member of multiple honors societies!
Love seeing the photos of lots of different students. You take great pictures!
