My name is Natalie Raabe and I am a senior at Oswego High School. This is my second year as a member of the 42fifty team and I serve as a Managing Editor and the Features Section Leader. Additionally, I am a member of the BIONIC board, NHS, Best Buddies, SNHS, NEHS, Rho Kappa, and Mu Alpha Theta.

Football fit check: white out theme

Oswego High school students filled the stands of Ken Pickerill Stadium on Friday, Sept. 15, for the varsity football game. Oswego High School’s student section, Orange Crew, decided on whiteout for the designated theme, and students dressed up to show their school spirit and cheer on the team to a victory. 

Dress code changes less restrictive, more inclusive

The new policy is much less restrictive than previous years, and now explicitly states that “dress code enforcement does not reinforce or increase marginalization or oppression of any group based on race, sex, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, cultural observance, household income, or body type/size.”
