My name is Sasha Pankuch and I am a junior here at OHS. This is my first year with 42Fifty too. I am very involved here at OHS; I am on the board of Student Council, I play the saxophone in the Panther Marching Band, and am a member of multiple honors societies!

As the holiday season approaches, many organizations in OH have launched their winter volunteer programs. They aim to give back to the community and spread a little joy during this season of giving. 

Keller’s Farmstand in Oswego offers memorable fall fun

Since its opening in 2007, Keller’s Farmstand in Oswego has become a fall season staple and must-attend attraction. As generational farmers, the Keller family has been dedicated to their multiple locations for decades, developing their iconic autumn activities that are beloved by all who visit.

From Conference Championships to Regionals to State Finals, OH girls’ sports teams are breaking records and making school history. Girls’ fall sports here at OH are ending soon, but they have had a remarkable season so far. Highlights include golf winning Conference and Regionals for the first time in school history, swim going to Conference, and sophomore Savannah Millard going to State Finals for tennis.

Trendy Halloween costumes often drain the bank for high school students who fall victim to the mainstream costume market. Influencers constantly push over-consumerism for Halloween, saying that cheap websites like Amazon and SHEIN are better options because they are cheap. A fun and creative alternative to buying from these fast-fashion websites is for teenagers to make their costumes themselves.

Oswego High School has taken great strides throughout the years in order to ensure that everyone feels welcomed and appreciated.   This year, Panther Pride is evident on the wrists of both students and staff with bright orange and blue bracelets.
