Hi, I'm Rhiannon Reynolds! This is my first year on staff, and I am a sophomore in highschool. I am involed in many things including bowling, and girl scouts. I really enjoy reading, photography, sports, and spending time with friends and family. I am really excited for this year of journalism!

OH softball 22-8, dominates season so far

The Oswego High School varsity softball team has been off to a strong run during the spring 2023 season. It has been hot with a record of 22-8 and some long-shot victories like 10-0 against Joliet Central High School, 11-2 against Romeoville High School, and 15-3 against Minooka High School.

On Friday, March 17, and Saturday, March 18, Oswego High School’s girls track team placed fifth place and boys track teams placed ninth at the Southwest Prairie Conference indoor tournament at Lewis University.

OH inducts outstanding Panthers into the Athletic Hall of Fame

On Jan. 14, 2023, Oswego High School hosted its 2022 Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The athletic hall of fame committee, which consists of current OHS faculty members, awarded two Hall of Fame awards, along with five different Ken Pickerill Lifetime Achievement Awards. 

OHS boys basketball co-hosts Hoops 4 Healing Tournament to support Camp Hope

Over Thanksgiving weekend, Oswego High School helped in co-hosting the Hoops 4 Healing boys basketball tournament with Naperville North High School. Games were played Nov. 21 through Nov. 25 at both schools' gymnasiums with the varsity and sophomore teams playing. The tournament's purpose was to fundraise for Camp Hope, a children's camp that allows kids who have family members with cancer to interact with other kids who are in similar situations.
