Hello! I'm Fionnuala Quinn. I'm currently a senior at OHS and this is my third year of journalism. Apart from journalism, I am involved in Cross Country, Track and Field, Best Buddies, and horticulture club. I'm so thrilled to serve as EIC this year!

OH B.I.O.N.I.C club: Kindness is courage

T.A.L.K. is one of the biggest events hosted by B.I.O.N.I.C, and while students can only attend once, joining the club allows them to become fully trained student leaders and run the event which further inspires students to join the cause. Students involved in B.I.O.N.I.C- standing for “Believe It Or, Not I Care”- have the chance to give back to their community while also gaining experience for themselves. The program focuses on connecting each other to form a community and develop a safe environment for students to navigate high school.

In the spirit of busting out Christmas decorations the second Halloween ends, we have taken the liberty to share our top 10 Christmas albums to listen to while preparing for the season. Hot chocolate, Christmas lights, watching the snow, ice skating, and much more, who wouldn't want to start the holiday season early?

As Oswego High School’s band and choir students prepare for their annual Crystals concert, Kevin Schoenbach, one of the band’s co-directors, is working hard to prepare the bands for their upcoming projects. Mr. Schoenbach has been a band teacher at OHS for 21 years and began his teaching career at Northern Illinois University as a performative music major.

Oswego High Schools' food drive finishes with another successful year of donations to lend a helping hand to families in need. On Oct. 3-12, OHS and Oswego East students were given the opportunity to contribute material and monetary donations to the Kendall County Food Pantry.
