OH boys volleyball spikes in popularity as they finish the season
The OH boys volleyball team is continuing with an impressive season and seeing a spike in fans. With a current record of 20-9, it is evident why. Lacrosse finally becomes a sport at OH
After years of waiting, lacrosse officially became a sanctioned IHSA sport in 2016, marking a significant change for all players and fans in the community, with the first state series in 2018. Now, lacrosse has come to OH and has started their first season. Lacrosse players across the US and those at OH have long advocated for the inclusion of the sport. "I've been pushing for [[SD#308]] to have lacrosse here since my freshman year, so I'm glad they finally added it,” said senior Jackson Daylor.

The week building up to prom brings many opinions for attending students. Many worry about what to wear or who to go with, but some students also have to worry about promposals. Just like asking someone to homecoming, promposals are done by a student inviting another student to attend prom with them. "I'm really excited for this year," said OH senior Mikey Claycombe. "It's my senior year and I know my girlfriend is gonna be really happy and excited."

As the boys basketball season nears its end, one freshman has already made a lasting impact: Ethan Vahl. A shooting and point guard for OH basketball, Vahl has emerged as a standout player, earning multiple Athlete of the Week honors, and an Athlete of the Month award in December.
