I am a senior at OH and so excited to be a Managing and Opinions Section Editor this year! I love working on 42Fifty, but I am also very involved in band and numerous honor societies here. Looking forward to doing great work this year!

The girls' Swim and Dive program in Oswego is one of the most successful athletic programs in the community. Composed of students from both OE and OH, the team aims to maintain its impressive record this season.

OH has a recurring trend with their Powderpuff winning teams: if they win their junior year, then they lose their senior year game. Girls badminton: A great way to get involved with sports

The OH athletic department has created opportunities that apply to a variety of students. From soccer and basketball to bass fishing and upcoming flag football, there is something for everyone. One option for girls who want to get involved in the OH athletic community is our badminton program. 

‘Senior Assassin’ has become a focus for public discourse

The game “Senior Assassin” has swept the country, becoming extremely popular among seniors in high school. The game, which follows an elimination-style bracket, encourages students to shoot their assigned “targets” with water guns to remove the competition and keep them from winning the end prize. The game has exploded in popularity in recent years, with many national news outlets covering the merits of the game and how it has caused issues in local communities. Seniors in high school love the game because it provides a fun way to compete against their peers and encourages them to fight for the grand prize.

OH Homecoming and Prom are two of the most anticipated events of the year. People spend hours upon hours preparing, making sure everything is perfect, and each day the events grow closer, and people get more and more excited.  Despite this, students often leave underwhelmed after the event they have looked forward to for so long. The cause for the widespread letdown is none other than the music choice.
