SATIRE: Criminal justice and forensics class solves real crime for class project

On Monday, April 1, at approximately 5 a.m., an Oswego High School student stole a bag of chips and tried to start a fire while wearing a Michael Jackson mask in a convenience store in Oswego. The Criminal Justice and Forensic Science classes at Oswego High School were alerted and put in charge of solving the crime. The Oswego police department was unavailable due to a team-building retreat.

On Friday, Feb. 15, the Oswego Panthers took the court in their first regional championship in four years. They took on the East Aurora Tomcats, and took home the title by the score 46-23.
