More than a team: The grind behind OH varsity baseball

As they approach the end of the season, OH varsity baseball athletes and their coaches reflect on their experiences with the team this year.  “This season so far has been pretty good. We hit a rough point where we lost a couple of games, but I believe we are back on track and we must keep striving to be better every day as a team,” said senior first baseman Dylan King.

42Fifty podcast hosts Madi Gilio, and Bryli Elizondo dive into the details about the OH varsity baseball season. They are joined by senior pitcher Brogan Mello an junior TJ Harazin. Listen in for the details about this spring's season.

Throughout the year, OH Orange Crew leaders have planned for all the sporting events. From creating fun themes and making posters to cheering on the teams at their games, they are always involved. “I would spend multiple hours a week hand painting banners for the football games and making posters,” said OH senior and Orange Crew leader Grace Braun. “Additionally, I helped design both the LLSF shirt and the Orange Crew merch that we produced and gave out or sold to other students.”

In this new spring season, the Varsity Sports Podcast returns with podcast hosts Madi Gilio and Bryli Elizondo. Bringing in varsity baseball players Kam Jenkins and Easton Ruby gives insight into their outlook on the beginning of the season. Also, they brought in George Victory and Otto Fernandez to get a look from the volleyball court. Listen in for more details on how they plan to be successful this year for the sports.
