Turns out a little, light public shaming can go a long way. An anonymous Instagram account in Oswego posts about student’s bad parking and may have slightly improved students parking after only a couple weeks.
The Instagram account owner (who wished to remain anonymous) said in an Insta chat interview, “I think the account might have changed a few peoples parking, as I've seen fewer people with a wheel in the grass or crooked.”
The account has become a popular topic among students, because it combines humor with a common issue in the school parking lot: truly bad parking.
“I think it’s funny as long as no one is being mean about it,” said OH junior Djevdet Vejseli said.
