I’ve heard that cartoonists are a rarer breed in the journalism world. I sincerely hope that, in the next year, someone else can come to take this spot and carry on entertaining our audience with their art.

Truth be told, most cartoons I’ve made were far from the best work I possibly could do. Real art made by real people is something that can’t easily be mass produced.

At least once, however, I wanted to give you guys a piece I actually put a lot of time and effort into. It’s not quite as funny or relevant as some of my others, but it’s mine and it’s the legacy I wish to leave behind as I leave this state to return to my swamp homeland.
