The OH Standing O theater group performed their fall play, “She Kills Monsters,” to student audiences today as a preview of this week’s upcoming performances.
A play written by Qui Nguyen, the plot centers on two sisters, Agnes and Tilly. After Tilly dies in a car crash, Agnes finds out more about her sister’s life through her Dungeons & Dragons gaming module.
OH actors move between the real world and the fantasy gaming world as Agnes processes the loss of her sister. With intricate costumes, special effects, sword play, and D&D gaming humor, the photo essay below showcases some of the scenes that slayed.
The show runs today, Thursday, and Saturday Oct. 15-18 at 7:00 PM and at 2:00 PM on Sat., Oct 18. Tickets are $8 for students and senior citizens, $12 for adults.
