The Cupid Shuffle is an annual dance hosted around Valentine’s Day in the athletics or “Main Street” hallway, where OH Panthers get the chance to have fun before school and dance. It begins and ends shortly before first period.
In a cold month, the Cupid Shuffle is a welcome break from worries and a fun activity for friends.
“It’s a fun and easy dance to do [with] friends”, said OH sophomore Kiersa Downs. The dance is a great start to the day, helping people to begin their day happy.
While simple, this event can still make people happy, which is something that everyone could use with all the negative things in the world.
“It’s a simple thing to do that adds joy to our… routine, and everyone could use a little more joy in their day,” said Karen Ferguson, ML teacher and host of the annual Cupid Shuffle.
