Since I was a little girl, I have always loved being in front of the camera. I recorded anything and absolutely everything. As summer was coming to an end, and senior year was approaching, I caught myself spending hours watching videos from when I was younger. It got me thinking: How can I remember my senior year?

Beginning the night before the first day of school, I picked up my camera with my friends and began recording. From there, my camera became a part of me, and it experienced the ups and downs of senior year along my side.

Thank you, Oswego High School, for the best four years I could have ever asked for. This building has seen some of my worst moments, but also some of my very best. I am incredibly grateful for all the teachers I have had over my time here, and am so thankful to have been a student here.

Miranda Cook’s senior column is presented below in a video essay. Enjoy!
