As an avid coffee drinker, I have tried my fair share of coffee shops both major chains and local businesses. This list compiles my top five local shops in the Aurora and Oswego area.

Endiro Coffee, New York Street, Aurora, Illinois.

Endiro is a quiet, two-level coffee stop off the Fox River, located near the casino in central downtown. The Ugandan coffee shop has a unique menu, perfect for trying new flavor combinations with classic coffees. With an outdoor patio and a downstairs lounge, it is the perfect place to go to in the summer with pets or just a walk along the river.

Moka Coffee, Lincolnway Street, North Aurora, Illinois.

Moka is a small drive-thru coffee stop off of Route 31 in North Aurora, making it a perfect place to stop if you need a quick pick-me-up. They also have a small patio and parking, making it perfect for a quick family stop.

Tredwell Coffee, Downer Plaza, Aurora.

Tredwell is another downtown Aurora location near the Paramount Theater and the Paramount School of the Arts. It is a quick walk to and from the theater and the perfect spot to grab a drink before a matinee performance with your friends.

The Village Grind, Main Street, Oswego, Illinois.

The Village Grind is a staple in downtown Oswego and a popular spot for people of all ages in the community. The cozy cottage vibes of this shop are a large factor in its popularity. The location is tailored so that it can be enjoyed by people of any age, making it a great place to stop after a library trip.

Oak + Bean, Washington Street, Oswego.

Oak + Bean is one of the newest additions to Oswego. Located in the Hudson apartments, this shop brings a modern touch to coffee in the town.

If you are a person who enjoys coffee and wants to shake up their typical routine, consider one of the places on this list. Supporting local businesses has never been easier than when it is something that you enjoy.
