Football Slideshow: Oswego vs. Plainfield North, Sep. 7, 2018

The Oswego Panther football team played against the Plainfield North Tigers on Friday, Sept. 7. The game ended with a Panthers victory 34-10. Oswego had a special event for Science teacher Ms. Nicole Larsen, who passed away unexpectedly two weeks ago. The Marching Band gave her 17 drum beats for the 17 years she had taught. The stadium on the Panthers side was full of cheer as the staff, students and parents screamed for the Panthers’ victory.

Senior Jordan Radloff plays 17 drum beats for Ms. Nicole Larsen. The 17 beats represents the 17 years Ms. Larsen taught at Oswego High School.
The varsity dance team performs at halftime. The dance featured original choreography by seniors Isabella Mahoney, Julia Dedic, Kylie Flynn, and sophomores Olivia Solis, Carsyn Whisenant and Sara Eberhardt.
Marching band also performed at halftime this past Friday. Senior drum majors Thomas Morgano, Sakai Mendez, Claire Accardo kept the band’s tempo throughout the performance.
Varsity cheerleaders on the sidelines cheer for the Panthers. They interacted with the crowd, and Orange Crew followed their lead.
Orange Crew was also cheering for OHS Friday night. The theme was red, white and blue, with the seniors at the bottom of the bleachers leading the cheers for the stands.
