Lunch is served: Students cook for OH staff

Culinary and Restaurant Management courses have been popular at OH for many years as students put their skills to use for others. And there is a reason why they're popular: the results are delicious. Students in these courses have served teachers, staff, and students a variety of meals throughout the year. Just yesterday, students in Restaurant Management served up the end-of-year barbeque for teachers, which included hot dogs, hamburger patties, grilled corn-on-the-cob, a variety of desserts, and more.

Back on top: OHS Auto Team ends 7-year drought with big win

For the first time in seven years, OH’s auto team won Waubonsee’s Automotive Technology program’s Automotive Skills competition on Feb. 21. OH students have grown a huge liking in the trades through our CTE classes, and this year, students of these auto classes showed their love through hard work, determination, and focus. “For the first time since 2019, the traveling trophy returns to the OHS Auto Shop to showcase all of the hard work and dedication of our students,” said OHS Auto’s teacher Don Vath.

Being famous comes with its ups and downs, and while may popularity brings success, it can just as easily be forgotten and lost. This is known as “falling off,” and rapper J. Cole discusses this feeling and how it impacts him on his new album “The Fall-Off.”   "The Fall-Off" provides J.Cole fans with another album full of amazing flows, such as songs "Bunce Road Blues" and "The Villest," yet with an amazing use of storytelling about his past and how it affects him.
