OH musical crash lands in the auditorium tonight
OH’s spring musical has returned, showing “Natasha, Pierre, & the Great Comet of 1812” on the evenings of April 16, 17, and 18. All showings will take place at 7 pm on the stated days, with an additional showing on April 18 at 2 pm. “It’s a hard show to do, but I think it shows the students that if they can do this, they can do anything,“ said Director Katherine Conant. Over the past few weeks, creatures who call themselves Wanilings have been causing mischief around the school and terrorizing students. Wani is a Japanese word that translates to crocodile, and they also respond to that name. “I really don’t think they can cause that much damage… they’re awfully little, no?” said archeology teacher Nico Robin.

State-wide testing has never failed to stress out students. Even with in-class preparation and support, some feel unprepared, may not care about it, or feel unmotivated to do well. It’s a tale as old as time, being confused about what’s going to occur on the day-of. OH ACT Prep teacher Thomas Hart is determined for all of his students to feel well prepared, motivated, and capable of their abilities to thrive during the test. “We start the semester with a base line of practice tests. We also have a textbook where we’ve done a lot of practice sets because that’s really what we’re trying to focus on” said Hart.
