Opinion: Consider the benefits of a gap year or more
Taking a gap semester or gap year after graduation is doing something other than studying, doing homework, working on projects, etc. Students can volunteer, build lifelong friendships, develop useful skills, learn other languages, discover new interests, etc. People have conflicting views about whether to take a gap semester or a gap year.
OH PE courses enforce stricter dress codes
During the 2023-2024 school year, OH gym teachers have enforced a gym dress code with verbal announcements and posters that slippers, pajamas, khakis, and more aren't allowed to be worn during gym classes.
OH excitement falls flat for FNAF movie
Since the early 2010s, the Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNAF) games, created by Scott Cawthon, have stood out as a popular indie horror series known for their theories, lore, and abundant jump scares from possessed animatronics. So people got excited when Warner Bros. Studios announced they would release a movie based on the series on Oct. 27, 2023.
Halloween has more than one meaning
In the Oswegoland area, Halloween is celebrated on Oct. 31, and some people celebrate every year with costumes, candy, decorations, and parties. However, not everyone recognizes this as a holiday to celebrate. OH senior Jarethzy Trenado said, ¨My family and I don't go out that day or decorate our house like others would.¨
Panther Pride Bracelets Show Unity
