Secrets of the wealthy: Peeking behind the door of ‘The Housemaid’
Recently, a new movie, “The Housemaid,” came out on Dec. 19, and seems to have been quite a hit with audiences of all ages. Originally based on a book series of the same name by Frieda McFadden, Sydney Sweeney plays young Millie Calloway who starts working for a couple, The Winchesters, as a housemaid. The more she is around the family, the more she starts to uncover secrets they've been hiding, and things aren’t as perfect as they seem.
OH girls’ volleyball wins Regionals to hold onto their 3Peat title
Finishing their season strong, the OH girls’ volleyball team won Regionals for the third time in a row. The 2025 team was a strong and supportive group that worked together through it all. OH right side senior Renee Egger said, “We just stayed as a team the whole time. We always stayed as a family,” expressing how they became Regional champions three times. Regionals was an end goal for the team. Many moments during the season made this a season to remember.

Vahl ranked as Top 25 point guard in the US, but ‘There’s still more work to be done’
OH sophomore Ethan Vahl is ranked in the top 25 upcoming point guards in the US and is also ranked #3 in Prep Hoops, which ranks all of Illinois' 2028 class based on their stats and tournament performance. As a freshman, Vahl also played on the OH varsity basketball team, making him the youngest on the team. Just like any other athlete, Vahl has had his setbacks, admitting, “It was like I didn’t have any confidence,” he said. But he overcame these challenges by “getting up and putting the work in.”
