New beginning for girls’ varsity basketball team with Parsons at the helm
The girls' varsity basketball team is starting the year differently, with a big role-change in their coach: Venita Parsons. This has changed how they will play and their growth in confidence. Last year, the team ended their season 14-18 and 3-12 in Conference. Borrowman averaged 7.7 points and 7 rebounds in all three games, followed by OH junior basketball player Tj Wilson, who averaged 4.7 points and two rebounds.

"Whenever I see him, you know, it makes me want to try harder." Last year, during Breed’s sophomore year, he qualified for State and competed in the New Balance Nationals, where he ran an 800 meter run in 1:59.03. These are huge accomplishments for Breed; they make him stand out and show his work ethic.
