Winter break is officially over, and that just breaks my heart. With over two weeks off, OH students and staff tried their best to stay occupied. My name is Jia Nair, and here is a quick recap of how Oswego’s community spent their winter break.

School was let out on Dec. 19, and it didn’t start again until Jan. 6, which is 18 days off. With time away from school and work, people began to feel lonely. Fortunately, the break was the perfect time to catch up with friends.

Emma Byron, an OH sophomore, said, “My friend group did a Secret Santa, we took several trips to Starbucks and Target, and celebrated New Year’s Eve together.”

Listen to the podcast below with Podcast Editor and host Jia Nair to hear more as she shares the highs, lows, and details of the happenings and benefits of winter break.
