After a long wait of two years, Robert Kirkman, the creator of Invincible, has released a new season, which fans can binge-watch each week. Starting Feb. 5, season 3 premieres with eight new episodes, leaving fans excited for what’s to come.

“I think it lives up to the comic books,” said OH junior Dylan Mateja. “It really resembles the comics with its cartoonish style.”

This season gives us 8 new episodes, each released every Thursday. Though many find this to be a long wait, it gives the watchers time to find new things about each episode and to savor each episode as they come out.

Each episode comes with an exciting story, a new adventure with characters like Alan and Omni-Man, new trials for Invincible to overcome, and a multiverse of marks.

As many fans are excited, some are disappointed with its current animation, believing it looks cheap. As this may be true, it is also speculated to have a reason behind it.

“It’s alright, I understand why they’re cutting corners,” said OH junior Logan Nieves. “I think the animation is gonna pick up closer to the end because it’s gonna be bigger battles.”

With many confirmed cast members coming to the scene, fans predict many new fight scenes, including giant fights such as “Conquest vs Invincible” and “The Invincible War” will be coming this season, which may explain why they seem to be cutting corners and keeping the animation budget low.

As cast members for this season are being confirmed, fans are also excited to see who’s to come in the upcoming season.

These new voice actors are some you might’ve heard of from their many hit shows. Actor Aaron Paul, known for his role as Jesse Pinkman in “Breaking Bad,” and Johnathan Banks, known for playing the role of Mike Erhmantraut in “Breaking Bad,” will be playing big roles this season.

Fans are especially excited to see voice actor Doug Bradley, known for his chilling and deep voice. Fans are speculating that he will be the voice for one of the most thrilling characters to come, the Viltrumite known as Conquest.

“I feel like there’s going to be a lot of high reactions, like ‘Oh, that guy is from this show’ or ‘Hey, I recognize that voice’ to the cast members,” said OH student Ryan DeJesus Alicea.

With the current sixth episodes being released, only two more remain.

So buckle up as we all wait for the next three weeks of everything Invincible.
