Future Panther Night is an annual event where 8th grade students can experience classes and clubs at OH. This year, the night was held on Nov. 14, with the whole school open for students and parents to see and explore.

“I hope to recruit more people to join the Spanish community we have, and join the Spanish classes,” said OH senior Olivia Blaszynski.

Recruiting during this night is a common way to engage more students for next year. Although it benefits the clubs and classes represented, visiting Future Panther Night also allows students to explore their future paths throughout high school and beyond.

“Try whatever you might be interested in!” said woods teacher Kevin Patetrman. “We have all of these electives, whether it’s industrial technology or whether its family consumer science, business, fine arts all of those things, we have so much to offer so give it a try don’t be afraid to try something and see what it’s like.”

The video, captured during Future Panther Night, recounts the excitement and engagement of the evening.
