I am thankful for OH and my family bringing me here. My four years here have been amazing. I've made friendships with people I would have never met, and it's such an accomplishment, especially coming from out-of-district. When I started my journey at OHS, I used to live an hour away from Oswego in a town called Cicero. I moved out here for a better education as well as to be closer to my family. But the downside I faced was that I knew literally no one here.

On April 1, OH administrators announced that they were removing the school and replacing it with a drive-thru where students and staff go to school to order their work and learning. There are many mixed feelings due to this abrupt change. “When I heard [[OH]] announced that I was shocked, I felt happy because I can work from home, but this seems like more work to drive there and back,” said OH senior Jenny Cooper.

Coalition hosted their Amplify night on March 13 with students from all grades showing up, including parents, to participate in the event. “To me, Coalition is a big, safe space," said Coalition Vice President Roa’a Harb. "I think it's a really good club/organization or program. I would say, where we, as students, can use our voice where we hope these events amplify and ascend to express our assessed student needs as student advocates.”

Opinion: School time traffic back-ups trouble teen drivers

Every morning at OH, as students and teachers are rushing to school, one of the problems that occurs is backed-up traffic. It leads to students being late and creates unsafe situations where students are walking between cars, trying to get to class. “When I get to school, traffic is not that bad, but around 7:05, it's horrible,” said OH senior Cole Gaston.
