The only thing stronger than hate is love, which makes perfect sense because we loved Bad Bunny's halftime Super Bowl performance. Join Podcast Editor Jia Niar, Spanish Editor Stephanie Mayorga, and 42Fifty reporter Peyton Allen as they review Bad Bunny's much-talked-about Super Bowl Halftime performance. There was a variety of entertainment during the Super Bowl, with the game, the Green Day performance, and new commercials, but this podcast focuses on all the love the halftime show deserves. Steady growth took OH Pantherettes team close to State, scoring 11th
On Sat., Jan. 24, the OH Pantherettes performed their last competition, and as they scored 11th place, they did not qualify for State this year. Although they had a rough start this season by scoring very low in their first competitions, they quickly rose in the charts, scoring higher and even securing trophies. “Our scores increase[[d]] each competition,” said OH junior Pantherette Lila Lieser. OH Pantherette Coach and special education teacher Hannah Hill also exuded her excitement about the team's growth. “I have never been more proud of this team,” she said in an interview via email. “We’ve earned some of the highest scores we’ve received in the past five years.”
New year, same self: Many OH students do not have faith in New Year’s Resolutions in ’26
The New Year 2026 has freshly begun. Around this time, it seems everyone starts wanting to improve: gyms are more full, grades are better, and habits are at their peak. However, OH students are not strong believers in the “New Year, New Me” concept. Will the community not see improvements around OH in this new year? “I think it's motivating, but a lot of people think they can do more stuff than they actually can," said OH junior Melanie Imbronjev. "So people kind of shoot big, and then they don't end up doing it.” Even OH staff are not so fond of the idea, like OH psychologist David Milos.
