As summer approaches, it's time to get your summer playlist ready. In this 42Fifty Music Review podcast, listen in for the songs on OH students' summer playlists. Podcast hosts Jia Nair and Stephanie Mayorga have interviewed several OH students who each told them their favorite song to listen to during the summer and three people said their favorite song was "The Spins" by Mac Miller. Specifically, OH sophomore Emma Byron said, “My favorite summer song is 'The Spins 'by Mac Miller because it just has the perfect summer vibe and it's an upbeat song.”

Popcorn ready: The week trailers took over
If your watchlist wasn't full already, it's about to be. This past week, several new and captivating trailers have been released. Whether it’s sci-fi spectacles, superhero blockbusters, or Disney live actions, audiences enjoy indulging in previews for upcoming movies. More recently, trailers have caught fans' attention through popular preview releases such as those for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Dune: Part Three, and Moana live action.
Podcast: Are You Listening Yet? Styles’ new album slays
Podcast Editor Jia Nair dives into Harry Styles' long-awaited new album “Kiss All the Time, Disco Occasionally." After a three-year break, Styles is officially back, and fans have had a lot to say. The album feels like a reinvention of disco. It leans heavily into funk and glam-pop while still maintaining the emotional songwriting that Styles is known for. In this podcase, Nair takes a deeper dive into the album's most popular songs, such as "Aperture," "Coming Up Roses," "Pop, Ready Steady Go," "American Girls," and "Are You Listening Yet?" Black history is American history: How OH is recognizing Black History Month
“Black history is American history,” said the OH Black Student Association sponsor Shaunise Thomas, making her message simple and clear. February is Black History Month, a time to honor the achievements, struggles, and contributions of African Americans. This year, the OH community is emphasizing the importance of Black history by hosting numerous events and celebrations. “Black history month is well celebrated because our community has lots of [[events]] planned,” said OH freshman Hadiya Lawal.
