This past year, OH athletics has worked with the district to upgrade the outdoor track and tennis courts. With minimal updates on the progress, OH principal Chris Grays sent out an email to panther families updating them on the track’s readiness for the spring season.
The Oswego High School Cheer program has developed greatly in recent years. With the competition team placing 6th in state last year, there seems to be nothing OH Cheer can’t do. Following this achievement at state, coaches Margaret Hill and Emily Gaw were each named “head coach of the year” for the 2022-2023 season.
As the 2023-2024 fall sports season comes to an end, athletes from volleyball, soccer, football, swim/dive, and a variety of other sports have made many accomplishments.   OH soccer captain Ryan Walsh said, “This season went extremely well. It was the first time the school had won a regional title in four years, so I was very proud of what we accomplished. We also beat some really strong teams and made it to the final of the Plainfield North Showcase, which I was really happy about."

Each year, NBA teams' seasons are decided by many things, including injuries and how well their star players do. This season has shown that the teams from last year are still the dominant teams that made the playoffs last year.  The NBA season started almost a month ago, and there have been drastic changes to the best teams. Although there is more of the season to watch, “I think nothing really has happened in this season,” said sophomore Kyle Taylor. “No one's really dropping crazy points or standing out from what I’ve watched.”
