While it may still be January, the buzz of prom hangs in the air at OH and dresses have begun to fly off shelves. The Junior Class Council is hard at work planning for the event of the year, trying to make each prom more magical than the last.
Numerous OH students participated in the nationwide Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Jan. 15. The day was dedicated to the legendary civil rights activist as an opportunity for citizens to volunteer their time and honor his dream of a better America.
The award-winning Oswego Commotion group began their competition season on Saturday, Jan. 20, with energy and the first award of the season: the People’s Choice Award.
Oswego High School special education teacher and soccer coach Michael Jacobs, 41, passed away Dec. 18, 2023. He resided in Riverside, Illinois.
This past year, OH athletics has worked with the district to upgrade the outdoor track and tennis courts. With minimal updates on the progress, OH principal Chris Grays sent out an email to panther families updating them on the track’s readiness for the spring season.
