Marvel is back with another hit: “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse” telling a story that never let up with its awesomeness. This action-packed animated film shows the best of what Marvel has to offer. “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse” is perfect for anyone seeking suspense, action and adventure with an uplifting storyline.
The story takes place in Brooklyn, New York, and focuses on Miles, a 16-year-old student with a very creative mind. He’s having a normal day until he is bitten by a unique spider. When Miles runs into Spider-Man, they both get a weird sense that they are the same. Miles and the original Spider-Man find out there are several other people with spider-like abilities. A team of spider-people gather together and weigh out their options on how to save Brooklyn from evil forces.
While Miles figures out the how to be a Spider, he fails, as he’s not sure what to do with his powers. The spider team seems worried about Miles’ ability to perform during their mission. The team keeps challenging Miles in order for him to be prepared for the hardships to come.
Miles keeps failing but, like all of the Spider-Men, he gets back up and continues to improve his skills and character. This character shows that never giving is the best thing to do.
The animations of the movie were incredible, showing features of comics in the film. Expressions of the characters and the dialogue were very comic book-like. Scenes opening a comic book to reveal updated information was incredibly unique and quirky. To add, the close up shots of the characters looked extremely detailed and well done, while also keeping that same comic-book style.
The soundtrack for the film was also incredible, fitting in perfectly with each scene.This music is sure to have you waiting for what’s next. It got your heart racing along with the close calls and fight scenes during the action sequences.
“Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse” shows how anyone can do anything they want as long as they try. This applies even when failure keeps stabbing you in the back. Miles shows his courage and works well as an inspirational main character.
All in all, I thought “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse” was incredible and I would recommend this movie to everyone. Everything from the music, the characters, and the animation was phenomenal. I loved how Marvel added something very unique to their long list of films. This is a must see, as well as one of the best movies of 2018!
