According to the Village of Montgomery Trustee Steve Jungermann, a stoplight will be put in place at the intersection of Concord Drive and Galena Road.

I asked the Montgomery Village Trustee who was going to pay for the stoplight since the intersection was on the border of Montgomery and Oswego. He said “It is a shared expense with the Village of Oswego”.

If you are driving on Concord Drive and reach the intersection to turn left on Galena Road, it can be very frustrating and stressful to wait for an opening to be able to turn onto Galena Road. From 6:30 a.m. – 7 a.m., the intersection is very busy and there are usually lots of people waiting to turn.

The construction and functionality date is still unknown.
